Jazz Jam-Brighton Utah

March 07 2009

I packed up the tent and grabbed some goodies and headed up to the Jazz Jam at Brighton, Utah. This is a basketball themed rail jam that went off! It was one of the quickest and heaviest rail jams I have ever seen. It was incredible to watch the heats go down. Today was one of the few days I have been able to ride this year, and instead of lapping the park I caught myself sitting down for the action.  Celtek Clan Pro rider Gabby Maiden was there and throwin down, she walked away with 2nd place in the womans division! Then in the mens open class Celtek Clan rider Alex Andrews was pressing his way around the setup with a Back 3 to 5-0 as high as your FACE! Then SLC local and Clan rider Brandon Hammid was doing everything from back 180 5-0s to switch backside 270-270 our on the insane down flat rail. That kid kills it! But Clan rider Sean Black walked away with Third place with the smoothest stlye and stompin everything he put down. The Clan was representing in full-effect! You can see all three,Sean,Brandon, and Alex in Variety Pack's newest flick "Not Bad" look for it this fall! Exclusively here at Celtek! It was the best session I have seen in a long time. A big thanks goes out the Zane Miller for having us up for the day! and Jared Winkler and the Brighton Park Crew for putting together a sick setup!Check out these photos!
Clayton Brown came up and helped. Watch out for him lappin the Brighton Park on the daily.
