Celtek Japan-Yutaka Muraki-Take One
The Celtek HQ just received a visit from Celtek Japan rider-Yutaka Muraki. He has embarked on a crazy North American adventure in hopes of the American snowboard dream. Yutaka started his journey with a month in Mammoth California, then to SIA in Las Vegas, back to Japan for a contest, Then to Whistler for a month full of filming and snowmobiling, and now here in SLC Utah for ten days. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting him, you know he is in love with snowboarding. At the young age of 22, he has his mind set on what he wants to do. From eating rice for every meal everyday with his family in Tokyo, to now sleeping on couches and eating frozen pizza's and raman noodles, this kid is motivated. This is the first take on Yutaka's first ever trip to Utah, check out these photos from his first few days, and look for take two and three.
The first night Yutaka was here we went to local shop Blindside in SLC.
Yutaka and I stoked on the selection. That place is rad.
We went back to my house and cooked some dinner, ofcourse, white rice.
The next morning we woke up early and made fresh tracks at Brighton.
This was Yutaka's first time in the best snow on earth. He was stoked!
We were both nice and toasty in our Outbreak Winter Gloves and Mittens.
It was pretty bottomless all day,Yutaka says "Utah, good snow"
Celtek's good friend, Corbett Simon of Vitamin Water lapped the pow with us.He made sure we were hydrated all day with the new Vitamin Water 10!

Fat kid-artist-Brett Allen getting some glamour shots with me on the chair.
Yutaka became an official fat kid when he slammed down a milly burger within 60 seconds.
So hyped on Utah.
