Dew Tour-Breck Day 2

December 17 2009

Day 2 of The Dew Tour- Breckenridge is in the books! It consisted of everything from clouds, sun, snow, winds, sun, and a lot more clouds. This was an epic equation for inconsistent snow which led to a tough qualifying round. CELTEK TEAM Riders Aaron Biittner and Sage Kotsenberg were in the mix trying to find the run that will send them into the next round for the men. Unfortunately with the harsh conditions that rolled in it was almost impossible to get enough speed! Sage Kotsenberg made his way into the next round, with a front 9 to cab 9 into a backside double cork 10! Birthday boy Aaron Biittner had style for days, and the right tricks but couldn't find that speed he needed. For the ladies, Joanna Dzierzawski and Madison Blackley held it down. But just as the men's round, the women had speed issues as well. With Halldor Helgason snagging top spot in the open qualifier, and Marius Otterstad droppin regular and switch backside rodeos to double backside rodeo the Prelims will be a heavy one. Check in tomorrow for the latest update on Day 3 from The Dew Tour Breckenridge, and who will be moving on to the finals.
