Go Skate Day Full Update
Yesterday, all around the world was Go Skateboarding Day. If you knew anything, you were on your skate pushing everywhere you went. We joined local Utah retailer, Milo , along with Jeremy Jones and his Moto crew at Bolts Action. We traveled to a half dozen skateparks in the greater Salt Lake City area, and did nothin but skate. We made our own custom Go Skateboarding Day Tee's that we passed out at every stop. We also had a big ol' cooler filled with nothing better than RedBull, Honest Tea, and waters, keeping everyone dialed with caffeine. Nixon, Alien, Gravis, Analog, and Habitat came out to join the fun too! We hope your Go Skateboarding Day was as epic as ours!

We made an early delivery to a local retailer before hitting the road.
Our first stop was Park City Skate park, and Chris Z was wrecking house.

Aaron Biittner, Deadlung, Chris Grenier, and Z Siebs all came out to represent for the CELTEK CLAN
The Bolts Action guys cruised on their bikes from spot to spot. Pretty amazing sight

Forrest Shearer Goes Deeper
Forrest Shearer is always searching for the opportunity to go DEEPER, and he definitely did with this one. Check out what Forrest had to say from his latest adventure in the backcountry. You can follow Forrest on his quest in the new movie, DEEPER.
This spring in Utah I was committed to checking out an area rumored to have some fun pillows. On a down day, I had Neil Provo meet me for a mellow mission to head up and explore. The pillows ended up being too low in elevation so we kept going not knowing what we would end up finding. We got to where the trail ended and had to turn back due to a late start. I did take a photo of this line that ran all the way from the top through a extremely spicy diagonal ramp that ended in an apron. I couldn’t get it out of my mind and I immediately put it to the top of my hit list (conditions permitting). Jump forward to a 5:30 am start – it was a solo mission, I was determined to complete the objective. With 2 ice axes and crampons I made my way up, tackling a scree field with loose rock near the top. Go time. Completely focused my mind turned off. It was me and the mountain. Coming into the diagonal ramp there was no room for error. Ice axe in hand I made it through the crux. Riding out the bottom, the stars aligned, I was thrilled that the line came together. When you’re splitboarding the connection to the mountains is like no other.

Caught Up With Bjorn Leines
Transworld Snow Caught Up with Team Rider Bjorn Leines. Here's some words from the crew over at TWS, but check out the full interview HERE
The first time I met Bjorn Leines was, admittedly, a pretty big deal to me. Here was a guy who had been breaking my VCR for the past 10, 12 years, and still pushing his riding further and further with each passing season. At 33 years of age, we’re still hearing about him rallying the young kids to get after such feats as Pyramid Gap, progressive AK lines, late-night SLC sessions and more–that old-school, midwest work ethic still runs cold through the man’s veins, to say the least. From his time on the original Forum 8 team in the 90s to filming for the new Absinthe and Rome films here in 2010, one has to wonder when he’ll ever reach that plateau, or if that ceiling even really exists. Always motivating, yet never brash or outspoken, outside of his work on a snowboard, little is known about the veteran Minnesota pro. When we heard of his recent injury in the backcountry, it was time to get caught up–there’s no way of knowing when or if we’ll ever catch him sitting this still again… -AH
